Andrea’s Home Page

Welcome to my home page! I’m glad you dropped in.

I graduated in 2004 from Clark College in Vancouver, Washington with an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Network Administration. I now work for Providence Health & Services at their Renton business office.

My husband Charley and I are avid duplicate bridge players. I am a Silver Life Master and Charley is a Gold Life Master. We play at tournaments, and online at OKbridge, but we haven’t been playing at the local bridge clubs since we relocated to the Seattle area.

This is me, from a company Christmas party a very, very long time ago (~1982?). Click the link for a larger version.

Here is a picture of Charley and me that was taken in February 2007 when we won the single-session mixed pairs event at Seattle’s annual Sweetheart Sectional bridge tournament.

I switched from the Republican party when President Bush invaded Iraq. I started to get interested in volunteering for the Kerry campaign in 2004, but I didn’t really have time or energy to be very involved. I wanted a t-shirt that said that Democrats support the troops better than the Republicans, but I didn’t see one so I created my own which you can see here. After I got mine, I had some more made up. I have large and extra large in white and a few large in ash gray. They are $15 each and I’ll ship them anywhere in the U.S. Send me an email at this address if you want one.

Last year I moved into a congressional district represented by a Republican. The Democratic challenger, Darcy Burner, almost won in 2004. I am a volunteer for her campaign in 2008. Please read about her candidacy and donate to her campaign.

I am also supporting Barack Obama for President of the United States. I caucused for the first time and will be a delegate to the Legislative District and County Caucuses. Please vote for Barack Obama in your state’s primary or caucus, and vote for him for President in November. See my ObamaBlog. Fired Up! Ready to Go! Yes we can!
